On wired mode, the mouse is capable of giving you 4000 dpi. On wireless mode, the mouse will provide you with 2000 dpi. The polling too changes according to the modes selected. On wired, the mouse has 1000 Hz polling and 1 ms response time. On wireless, the mouse has 125 Hz polling and 8 ms response time.
